Now it’s possible to expertly spool your own reels at home and this line winder is a must for all serious anglers who spool their reels tight. At the heart of the BF-216 is a cnc machined gearbox with brass gears that provide the required torque to make it possible to use a standard 18v cordless drill. It is possible to spool overhead reels up to 80W size, right down to small overheads.

The CNC machined chuck has replaceable rubber pads and together with the rubber cone makes spooling spin reel spools a breeze. It’s a perfect addition to the Bee’s Knees Reel Spooler which is also available from Busted Fishing. This unit is made from primarily anodized aluminum and stainless steel, weighing in at 5.3kg – This is a lifetime investment to get your reels spooled tight to prevent line digging in.
